Mmmm , I'm not sure what to say about this book . I didn't really love it but I didn't hate it either . I actually enjoyed Dash's point of view, Lily's . . . not so much . I think it was because I couldn't really relate to her 16 year old character , who knows . The first 100 or so pages were okay to me . I liked the concept of them interacting only through the red moleskin notebook . It reminded me of when people online date , that anticipation of what the person would look like , or if they will like the " real " person they are . But then the book fell off for me . The chapter when Lily runs into Dash in the park while walking Boris was so . . . MEH . I mean catching a baby in mid air ? Really ? Not that it's not possible , it just seemed a bit . . . Unrealistic . I had to remind myself that I am indeed reading Fiction . Not to mention that I could have completely did without the " interrogation room " scene . I guess I just expected more to happen when they finally spent more time together . Nevertheless , I enjoyed some parts of the book . It was a light read which I was looking for before I jumped back into some Dystopian novels . Just wish it had more substance & character progression .
